Last Hunt Test of the Spring

Lynn finished up the Spring Hunt Test season with a bang...and the fireworks from Maple Grove Dragway on Saturday night celebrated for him.  We live close enough to hear the fireworks, but the trees block the view.

Lynn had a great day at the Del Valley GWP Club's Hunt Test on Saturday May 25th. He completed a new Junior Hunter Advanced  title for client Louise Anderson's Abbey and new Junior Hunter title for client Steve Zimmer's Charley.  These two brought his Hunt Test titles earned to 55.

Now it's time to take off for the summer as the heat is too much for training dogs.  More news from the Hunt Tests in the Fall.

New Companion Dog title - May 7, 2013 at the GSPCA National Lynn & Penny finished her CD with a Fourth place award. Pending AKC approval Penny will be CH Buck Hollow's Explorer CD, RN, MH GSPCA VC. And she will turn 10 years old in one month.

Rainy days & Mondays always get me down.

And this being both a rainy day and a Monday I should have expected some bad news.

The bad news is that Heidi has no puppies. We had so hoped that she would carry this litter for her final breeding. It was not to be.

Guess there is always next year.

Penny

Penny - VC CH Buck Hollow's Explorer RN, MH, CGC - earned two qualifiers for her Companion Dog Title at the Harrisburg Cluster on April 12 and 13.  Next scheduled competition will be at the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America on May 7th in Gettysburg PA.

Heidi's puppies from 2010

Puppy News - Heidi was bred to Bear on March 5th.  We are hoping for a healthy litter to arrive in early May.
